  • Twelve Sacred Jyotirlingas
  • Dwadasa or Twelve holy shrines devoted to Lord Shiva in the form of Linga holds great significance in Hindu religion. These Jyotirlingas are associated with many legends and are rich in history. The southernmost Jyotirlinga is located in Rameshwaram and the Northernmost in Snowy Mountains of Himalayas at Kedarnath.

Day 1 Arrival at Kolkata

On reaching Kolkata Airport, greeted and escorted by our representative to the Hotel. Night will be reserved for resting.

Day 2 Kolkata – Kiul

Kolkata city tour in the morning, afterwards visit to local markets. Leave for Howrah Railway Station in the evening to board train to Kiul. (Train is air-conditioned, with proper sleeping birth and clean bed sheets)

Day 3 Kiul

Arrive early in the morning at Kiul, meet our representative and start our journey to Baijnath temple (First Jyotirlinga) in Deogarh. After Darshan of the holy shrine will continue our drive to Bodhgaya as there is no good accommodation facility in Deogarh. After dinner, night spent at Bodhgaya.

Day 4 Bodhgaya – Varanasi

Visit Bodhgaya in the morning and also Bodhi tree and Mahabodhi Temple where Lord Buddha gained enlightenment. Leave for Varanasi in the afternoon. Check In hotel and night spent at Varanasi.

Day 5 Varanasi

Early in the morning leave for boat cruise to famous Ghats of river Ganga. Visit Bathing Ghat where pilgrims take holy dip in River Ganga to clean their sins. Also visit Burning Ghat where bodies are cremated and last rites are performed. Visit Varanasi city in the afternoon to witness rich culture and heritage of two thousand years old city. Visit Lord Vishwanath Temple (Second Jyotirlinga) situated on the banks of River Ganga. Evenings reserved for Ganga Aarti at Dasawamedha Ghat. After dinner, night spent in hotel.

Day 6 Varanasi – Delhi

Morning reserved to have rest or visit local markets. Leave Varanasi for Delhi in the afternoon. On arrival at Delhi Airport, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Rest of the day is reserved for leisure or local visits. Night spent at hotel.

Day 7 Delhi – Rishikesh – Rudraprayag

Early morning leave for Rudraprayag via Rishikesh. After 9 hours journey, night spent at hotel in Rudraprayag.

Day 8 Rudraprayag – Gaurikund – Kedarnath

Early in the morning leave for Gaurikund and start trek to Kedarnath shrine. Check in hotel after five hours’ journey. Evening reserved for Aarti at Kedarnath Temple (Third Jyotirlinga). Night spent in Kedarnath.

Day 9 Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Rishikesh

After attending Pooja in the morning, return trek to Gaurikund. After hot water bath at Gaurikund will drive back to Rishikesh. Night spent in Rishikesh.

Day 10 Rishikesh – Delhi

Early in the morning leave for Delhi. Check in hotel on arrival. Rest of the day reserved for leisure. Night spent in Delhi.

Day 11 Delhi – Indore

Early in the morning leave for Indore by flight. On arrival, our representative will escort you to the hotel. After short stay at hotel, drive to Omkareshwar (Fourth Jyotirlinga). The temple is situated on an island encircled by Narmada River. After having Darshan of the fourth Jyotirlinga, ride back by boat. Drive back to Indore in the evening. Night spent at hotel.

Day 12 Indore – Ujjain – Indore

After breakfast leave for Ujjain to visit Mahakaleshwar Temple (Fifth Jyotirlinga). After Darshan of the Jyotirlinga, leave for Indore in the evening. Night spent in Indore.

Day 13 Indore – Ahmedabad – Rajkot

Early in the morning leave for airport to board flight to Ahmedabad. On arrival, our driver will drive you straight to Rajkot. Night spent in Rajkot.

Day 14 Rajkot – Dawarka

Leave for Dwarka in the morning, on arrival check in hotel. Visit Nageswar Temple (Sixth Jyotirlinga) in the afternoon. Night spent at Dawarka.

Day 15 Dawarka – Somnath

Early in the morning leave for Somnath, check in hotel on arrival. Later in the afternoon visit Somnath Temple (Seventh Jyotirlinga). After Darshan, night spent in Somnath.

Day 16 Somnath – Diu – Mumbai

After attending morning Aarti in Somnath, leave for Diu Airport to board flight to Mumbai. On arrival our representative will escort you to hotel. Night spent at hotel.

Day 17 Mumbai – Nasik

Sight-seeing at Mumbai in the morning, leave for Nasik in the afternoon. Night spent at hotel.

Day 18 Nasik – Aurangabad

In the morning visit Triambakeshwar Temple (Eighth Jyotirlinga). Drive to Aurangabad in the afternoon, on arrival check in hotel.

Day 19 Aurangabad, Ajanta Caves (Close on Monday)

After Breakfast leave for Ajanta Caves. The day will be spent exploring Ajanta caves. Return back to hotel for overnight stay at hotel.

Day 20 Aurangabad

The day is reserved for exploring Ellora caves. They are 34 in number and will consume the whole day. Ellora caves remain close on Tuesday. Later in the afternoon visit Grihneshwar Temple (Ninth Jyotirlinga). Night spent at hotel.

Day 21 Aurangabad – Pune

Drive to Pune early in the morning, on arrival check in hotel. Visit Lord Bhimashankar Temple (Tenth Jyotirlinga). The temple is located at three hours distance in a forest reserve. Night spent in Pune.

Day 22 Pune – Hyderabad

Mornings reserved for leisure. Drive to Airport in the afternoon to board flight to Hyderabad. On arrival, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Explore city iin the evening and night spent in hotel.

Day 23 Mallikarjuna

Visit to the sacred temple of Lord Mallikarjuna (Eleventh Jyotirlinga). The temple is situated on the banks of River Patalganga Krishna. After Darshan, night spent in Hyderabad.

Day 24 Hyderabad – Kottayam

Morning reserved for leisure. Later in the afternoon leave for Railway Station to board train to Kottayam. Overnight train journey (The train is air-conditioned with proper sleeping and clean bed-sheets)

Day 25 Kottayam – Madurai

Arrive Kottayam in the afternoon and drive straight to Madurai. Check in hotel on arrival and rest of the day reserved for leisure or Visit Meenakshi Temple for the closing ceremony. Night spent in hotel.

Day 26 Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai

Visit to Rameshwaram Temple (Twelfth Jyotirlinga). After a 3 hours ride from Madurai, Rameshwaram can be reached. Return to Madurai in the evening, night spent at hotel.

Day 27 Madurai – Chennai

In the morning leave for local sight-seeing in Madurai city. Later in the afternoon, Afternoon check out and transfer to Aiport for Board flight to Chennai. On Arrival at Cheenai Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 28 Chennai – Home

Day reserved for exploring Chennai city. Later in the evening, board flight back to home or further destination.
