Overview

Char Dham Yatra from Kolkata

The Char Dham Yatra from Kolkata is a sacred 12-day pilgrimage covering the four famous Dhams of Uttarakhand. The journey includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. It is designed for pilgrims who want to travel from Kolkata with a planned itinerary and local assistance.

The journey begins from Kolkata and continues towards Uttarakhand. Depending on the selected package, guests can travel by flight or train to the starting point. From there, the Himalayan pilgrimage begins. The route passes through beautiful valleys, mountain roads, sacred rivers, and traditional pilgrimage towns.

First, the tour takes you to Yamunotri Dham. Devotees visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna and experience the peaceful Himalayan surroundings. Next, the journey continues to Gangotri Dham, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations associated with the River Ganga.

The pilgrimage then continues towards Kedarnath Dham. Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The journey requires careful planning because of the high altitude and mountain terrain. Pilgrims can choose suitable travel options according to availability and official arrangements.

Finally, the tour reaches Badrinath Dham, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. You can also explore nearby attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhim Pul.

This 12 Days Char Dham Yatra is suitable for families, groups, couples, and older citizens who want a structured pilgrimage experience. We focus on comfortable accommodation, reliable transportation, local assistance, and practical travel planning.

Gangasagar Eco Tourism prepares this original Char Dham itinerary for pilgrims travelling from Kolkata, with the aim of making the Himalayan pilgrimage comfortable, organized, and memorable.
